AI Scribe During Your Visit

To help us focus more on you during your appointment, our clinic may use an AI Scribe—a secure digital assistant that listens to the conversation and generates a draft medical note for your provider.

Benefits

  • Allows your provider to spend more time listening and engaging with you

  • Supports accurate and thorough medical documentation

Your Privacy

  • Fully compliant with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA)

  • Recordings are used only to generate notes and are deleted immediately afterward

  • Your medical record remains secure and confidential

Your Choice

Use of the AI Scribe is completely optional. We will always ask for your consent before using it during your visit.

Physician Panel Update

Dr. E. Perez Guzman is no longer accepting new patients as of May 1, 2026.
Only individuals who scheduled a meet-and-greet appointment prior to this date will be considered.

Updates to Our Primary Care Provider Team

For patients of Dr. Tosefsky and Dr. McGuire:

Over the past four years, we have been fortunate to have Dr. Chris Hillman providing full-time, long-term locum coverage. During this time, Dr. Hillman has delivered excellent care while supporting our clinic through physician absences and helping maintain a sustainable workload.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Hillman will continue with Marpole Medical on a long-term basis and will begin caring for his own panel of patients starting March 23, 2026.

While Dr. Hillman has seen many patients from Dr. Tosefsky’s and Dr. McGuire’s practices, he will only be able to accept a limited number into his panel to ensure accessibility and quality of care.

  • Patients who are being transferred to Dr. Hillman will receive a notification message shortly

  • Patients who do not receive a notification will continue with their current family physician and will no longer be able to book appointments with Dr. Hillman
